Wes, Shaw, Julian, and Cheyenne are the ”PRAISE WARRIORS. ”
They are the originators of “scrip-hop”, a mixture of Gospel and hip hop music, Christian rap and Bible verses.
These siblings have released their debut album “CrossEyed” through Oblivion America Recordings – their family-owned record label.
What started as a church contest for putting Scripture to music has now become a Christian music CD and perhaps a new genre to accompany Gospel rap and Holy hip-hop.
Since the release of the CrossEyed CD in ’07, PW has performed from New York to Chicago and they have just recently been interviewed by Heaven 600. Planning for a summer release, PW is currently in the process of completing their second album titled “Still CrossEyed.” This release will have 12 songs will contain a great deal Bible verses…
The Lord’s blessings are upon these young one as they memorize verse after verse of God’s word and then record in a fashion that makes memorization as easy as singing your favorite song.
3 years of performances, leading children’s worship at church, filming videos and breakdancing has given these young people confidence, stage presence, and a growing fan base in and outside the Christian community. The effect this music has on their peers and those older and younger has been inspiring and fruitful.
This ministry has been called an adventure by one of the Praise Warriors. “We never know what’s next or who we’re going to meet and every time all are blessed. Us and them.”

Hello. You guys came to my church, Freedom Missionary Community Church, in July for brother Rudy Armstead’s Joy Night and you were awesome. I had asked if you guys could come back for our Youth Talent Show were we are showcasing youth talent on August 20th from 1pm to 3pm.
